Superior Ceramic Coatings & Detailing Has Moved Locations … it’s a Big Upgrade
If you’ve been wondering where Superior Ceramic Coatings & Detailing went, you’re not alone. I’ve been quiet for a bit, and some people even asked if I was still in business.
Short answer: yes.
The real answer is better. This passion project is going exactly where I pictured it back in 2018. The goal was always to get out of the home garage and into a real shop with real visibility. Not hidden in the back of an industrial park. Not hard to find. Just a place you can actually pull up to and feel good about.
As of February 1, 2026, our new home is:
867 Cromwell Ave, Rocky Hill, CT
It’s the same building as Modern Tire. Superior is on the right side of the building with about 2,200 square feet to work with. There are front windows, and the bay door is in the back.
Also, that bay door is tall. Think 12 to 14 feet. If you’ve got a lifted 3/4 ton pickup, you don’t have to sweat clearance anymore.
What this move changes for you
This new spot isn’t just a new address. It’s a better experience.
1. Everything is indoors
Your vehicle will be serviced inside from start to finish. More space. Several floor drains. A cleaner workflow. Better results.
2. Retail is finally happening
No more asking me for links to what I use. I’ll have a tight lineup of products you can actually trust, especially for coating maintenance and wash essentials. Expect stuff like:
- Soaps
- Tire dressing
- Wheel cleaners
- Detail spray
- Towels and brushes
3. Window tint is here
This has been the top request I get. Now it’s happening. I’m bringing in a dedicated window tint tech with 25+ years of experience for several days per week. Tint will be billed through me, so you still get a clean invoice for everything.
4. Express details you can do while you wait
My specialty stays the same:
- Paint correction
- Ceramic coating
- Complete details
But I can’t ignore the demand for express service anymore. These packages will land around the $100 to $200 range and are designed to fit into your day. The best part is the convenience with Modern Tire. You can knock out tires or an oil change and leave with a cleaner car, too.
5. A real waiting area
Modern Tire has a big, comfortable customer lounge, and they’re letting Superior customers use it. That means you can chill while your vehicle gets handled.
6. Wash subscriptions are on the way
Now that we’ve got the space, I can offer high-quality hand washes on a subscription plan. Pricing is still being finalized, but expect roughly $50 to $65 per wash as a starting point. Here’s what you’re actually getting:
- A 5-minute presoak to pull off grime first
- Wheel and tire cleaning before contact wash
- A true two bucket method, panel by panel
- Drying aid and premium microfiber towels for a safer finish
- Premium products across the board
