Hi everyone,

It’s great to be updating you all regularly again with the goings on here at Superior Ceramic Coatings & Detailing. Those of you that have been on this distribution list for a long time know that this business is basically a passion project for me and part of that is bringing you all along for the journey. I have found value in other businesses that share similar info so i have to figure at least some of my customers will find that same value when I share my experiences. Remember, business is an excuse to be in a relationship and my relationship with my customers is critical to Superior’s growth. 

As you may have imagined, there was more to moving the business than just for the sake of moving. Part of it is because I need to assemble a team so that we can expand our offerings, i have more time to work on the business side of things and take care of my health. 

I’m happy to report this team has been assembled and done so in a way that allows me to be confident we are still offering the highest quality work available! As of the time i am sending out this email, I have one employee who is learning the ins and outs of detailing. 

Luke is on board mainly to work on vehicle prep and will eventually be fully trained on interior detailing, paint correction and ceramic coatings. While he will eventually have these skills, everything will still require my direct approval and will be done with my help and supervision. In other words, please continue to expect the quality work you have all come to expect from me. This is NOT me stepping back, it is me optimizing our efficiency.

Ever since I started the business, the specter of window tint and paint protection film has loomed overhead. These are offerings that, as far as I am concerned, require impeccable skill and experience in order to offer both to my customers. This would ordinarily require me to fly somewhere, train for a week to return with basic skills which would have to be further refined with experience before I could expect customers to pay. Since this would take years to accomplish, it has been difficult to execute on. 

Complex problems sometimes require creative solutions so I’ve buckled down and got creative to solve this one.

What i have dome, after some conversations with a few film manufacturers, is brought on specialists to handle PPF and window tinting. Handling it this way allows me to instantly offer a full range of services with the highest quality installations that we can stand behind. In the realm of PPF, we have access to all the major brands so each project can utilize the best product for that particular installation. 

Our PPF team of four installers all have 5-10 years of experience installing PPF and window tint. I also have a dedicated window tinter that has, get this, 25 years of experience installing window tint! These are stats i could never match if i learned the skills myself. 

What does this mean for my customers?
